Where are you going when Jesus comes back? It is a question that all men and women will have to deal with some day soon. Rom 3:23 says "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". Also, in Romans 14:12 it says, "So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God." That verse says literaly that we will talk to God Almighty face to face someday and He will say "Well done my good and faithful servant" or "Away from me I never knew you." So if a person dies when they aren't living for God they will go to hell. A very sad but true thing! But, praise the Lord, God has a plan to save you and that is the little Baby Jesus that we celebrate. You see, God sent Jesus to earth to save us from our sins. that is why John 3:16 is soo goood! "For God so loved the world that he gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him should NOT perish but have eternal life!" What an awesome promise! Jesus came to "Save that which was lost......Luke 19:10, and He said "I am the way!" In 1 John 1:9 it says,"If we confess our sins He[God] will be faithful and Just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness!" Friend, it's all in the Word! And the Word is all true! But Jesus died for you and for me so that we can go to heaven and spend eternity with Him instead of with the devil in hell! Most everyone knows the 10 commandments, notice they are commandments not suggestions! If you look at a woman with lust in your heart you have already committed aldultery, so if you look at pornography you are committing adultery! We all have to deal with temptation ,of couse, but Phillipians 4:13 says, " I can do all things through Christ who strenghtens me." With Jesus you will have strength to overcome ALL TEMPTATIONS! So, You have the promise of eternal life, the blessing and favor of God, strength to overcome temptation, and every one of the Biblical promises is for you, and best of all, Heaven is waiting for you IF you receive Jesus in your heart! Just say this prayer in your heart or out loud "Dear Jesus, I know that I have lived a life that would not please you, and I have sinned, I ask You to forgive me now, and wash me with Your blood, I WILL live for You and follow Your ways today and forever! Jesus, I pray that You would come into my heart becuase I want You there! Teach me Your ways, I pray In Jesus' name! Glory to God!
Now, if you meant that prayer, you have begun a new life! I encourage you to get involved with a church and seek God with everything you have! Get rid of sinful things in your house, and spread the word ABOUT JESUS!
